A rapidly growing Manufacturing business are recruiting a Credit Controller to join their team on a temp to perm basis to manage a portfolio of key clients. The business is based near Barlborough, conveniently located just off the M1 making it a manageable commute from Sheffield, Chesterfield and Worksop.
In the role of a Credit Controller, your key is pivotal for upholding the businesses’ credit policies and overall Sales Ledger Function. The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running in this high-importance role, completing tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
This role is part time and flexible to the right person to either work school hours or to 3 or 4 full days per week. Full time could be considered so don’t hesitate to apply if this sounds like the perfect job for you.
The duties of a Credit Controller are as follows:
- Responsibility for the full credit control process for an allocated part of the businesses’ ledger
- Chase outstanding debts while maintaining positive relationships with the businesses’ key contacts
- Maintain accurate records
- Respond appropriately & effectively to customer queries
- Contribute to regular credit reports
- Deal with customer queries
Preferred skills & attributes:
- Must have previous experience as a Credit Controller or Accounts Admin
- Experience using a range of financial systems, including accounting software & Excel
- Strong communication & problem solving skills, especially when chasing payments via telephone and email
