This is an excellent opportunity within a dynamic and growing business for a CIMA/ACCA/ACA Part-Qualified FP&A Analyst to join a well-established finance team. As the FP&A Analyst, you will report directly to the FP&A Manager and play a key role in supporting the business through the delivery of accurate financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and commercial insight to aid strategic decision-making across the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Preparing monthly management reports, financial analysis, and performance commentary for senior stakeholders
- Supporting the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes across the business
- Producing detailed variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior year performance
- Developing and maintaining financial models to support strategic and operational decision-making
- Analysing revenue, margins, costs, and profitability trends to identify risks and opportunities
- Preparing KPI reporting and dashboards to monitor business performance
- Partnering with operational and commercial teams to provide financial insight and challenge assumptions
- Supporting month-end and year-end reporting processes where required
- Assisting with cash flow forecasting and working capital analysis
- Conducting scenario analysis and sensitivity modelling to support business planning
- Supporting investment appraisals, business cases, and commercial evaluations
- Identifying opportunities to improve reporting accuracy, efficiency, and financial processes
- Assisting with ad hoc analysis and reporting requests from senior management
- Ensuring financial data integrity and maintaining accurate reporting across systems and spreadsheets
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the FP&A and wider finance function
As you progress within the business, there will be genuine opportunities for career development and progression. This role will provide broad exposure across financial planning and analysis activities and offer valuable hands-on experience within a commercially focused finance environment.
Ideally, you will either be studying towards or looking to begin CIMA/ACCA, with previous experience within FP&A, Management Accounts, Commercial Finance, Financial Analysis, or Assistant Accountant roles, and be looking to further develop your analytical, accounting, and commercial finance skills.
