Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for technical and other audit queries and provide general accounting advice to clients within your portfolio.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
- Plan and execute audits to the highest standards, ensuring quality and compliance.
- Manage billing and recoveries, and negotiate certain fees.
- Contribute to marketing and business development activities, including preparing tenders and attending new business meetings.
- Demonstrate the qualities required to progress to a senior manager and beyond.
Qualifications
- Extensive up-to-date external audit experience delivered to quality mid‑market privately owned businesses.
- Fully qualified accountant – ACA (ICAEW), CA (ICAS) or ACCA – from a quality firm of accountants.
- Excellent P&L and balance sheet skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
