I\’m currently working with a well-established engineering business based in Rotherham who are looking for a Junior Finance Assistant to join their close-knit team. As the Junior Finance Assistant, you will play a key part in supporting the finance function with a variety of day-to-day tasks, including:

Responsibilities

  • Processing purchase and sales invoices
  • Assisting with bank reconciliations
  • Credit control and cash allocation
  • Managing petty cash and staff expenses
  • Carrying out accurate data entry and admin tasks
  • Communicating with internal teams and external suppliers

The Ideal Candidate

  • A genuine interest in finance and accounting (AAT Level 2+ or currently studying is an advantage)

  • Confident using Microsoft Excel and other MS Office programs
  • Previous experience in a finance or office environment is desirable but not essential
