If you are a qualified ACA or CA, whether ICAEW or ICAS or qualified ACCA with exceptional customer facing, commercial and transactional skills this could be the best career move you ever make. You will perform a valuable role primarily assisting the directors and partners in identifying potential investment opportunities, managing various elements of the deal process through due diligence and on to completion – the whole investment cycle from origination through to completing the investment, further bolt-on acquisitions and eventually exits.
To be considered you must have qualified with a quality firm of accountants and have up to date professional practice experience from within corporate finance / lead advisory or business recovery / corporate restructuring. Alternatively, you may already be within venture capital / private equity fancying a change of employer. Academically you will be a high achiever and have first class inter-personal skills, an interest in corporate finance and funding and a wider commercial nous. Some deal experience within corporate finance / M&A, corporate recovery / restructuring or private equity will be essential.
