A highly successful and growing business in York is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to cover an initial 12 month maternity leave that could lead to a permanent role. To be considered you will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) and have significant experience of producing management accounts, ideally in a multi-entity environment along with the ability to mentor less experienced people in the team.
Key tasks involve:
- Leading on the production of monthly management accounts
- Maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the Accounts ledgers
- Maintaining the fixed assets register
- Supporting with subsidiary accounts preparation
- Preparing and reviewing UK and EU VAT returns
- Supporting with systems implementation and process improvement
- Reconciliation of Payment Provider Accounts
- Recording and reconciling Credit Card and Employee expenses
- Financial Analysis and Performance Reporting (KPI Reporting)
- Cost Management
- Supporting with risk identification and mitigation
