This global FS business currently has a fantastic opportunity to join the team, on a fixed term contract basis. You will work alongside the commercial team, supporting senior members of the leadership group, partnering in the truest of sense. This is a key role, allowing strategic goals to be met, and therefore needs someone who is highly organised, is a solid communicator, and is able to make the numbers come to life for the non-finance stakeholders.
The main responsibilities are as follows:
- Review management accounts and accompanying schedules as applicable, in accordance with documented business policies and procedures and within the required timeframe.
- Complete the corporate core month end along with all applicable reporting to strict deadlines.
- Manage Corporate Core Recharges along with other Adhoc recharges as they arise.
- Prepare/review half year and full year financial statements together with related information.
- Support the front line business unit teams with review of expenses versus budget and forecast.
- Update and review business case planned and actual costs on a regular basis.
- Key point of contact for auditors, dealing with all queries and escalate as appropriate.
- Maintain and develop key financial controls.
- Business Partner the Corporate core team in the review and analysis of the monthly results.
You will be:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.
- Management accounting experience, ideally with experience in a financial services environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrably methodical and highly organised with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
