Sharp Consultancy are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk on a temporary basis to join a well-established business in North Leeds. This is a great opportunity for candidates with previous Purchase ledger experience to utilise and expand their existing Purchase Ledger skills. The role is available with an immediate start and you will be working alongside an experienced team, in a busy role.
Key Responsibilities
- Process, and review purchase ledger invoices and purchase orders
- Input and maintain expense data within accounting systems
- Reconcile key purchase ledger control accounts
- Prepare payment runs for review, approval, and processing
- Manage supplier queries and resolve discrepancies efficiently
- Support the delivery of intercompany recharges and cost allocations (actuals, budget, and forecasts)
What We’re Looking For
- Previous purchase ledger experience
- Comfortable working with finance data (no formal accounting qualification required)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
