As the Assistant Management Accountant, you will report directly to the Finance Manager and gain broad exposure across multiple areas of the business. Key responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting financial reporting processes.
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating any discrepancies identified.
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities across the finance function.
- Preparing and posting journals, accruals, and prepayments accurately and within deadlines.
- Assisting with month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Producing financial reports and analysing data to support business decision-making.
- Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with company procedures.
- Supporting audits and providing information requested by internal and external stakeholders.
- Working collaboratively with wider departments to improve financial processes and control.
