This is a great opportunity for a CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified Management Accountant/Financial Accountant to join an established finance team at an exciting period of growth. As an Assistant Finance Manager in this team, you will be reporting into the Finance Manager, with a dotted line to the Finance Director where you will be overseeing financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, maintaining compliance, and contributing to strategic financial planning. This role plays a key part in managing day‑to‑day accounting functions while helping drive financial efficiency and control across the organisation.
Your main duties will be, but not limited to:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Analyse financial performance and provide insights to support decision‑making.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Assist with maintaining the general ledger and reconciling accounts.
- Support statutory audits and liaise with external auditors.
- Assist in managing cash flow, including forecasting and monitoring liquidity.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Supervise junior finance staff where required.
- Provide guidance and training to team members.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and controls.
