Growing and ambitious business based in Castleford currently require a CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified accountant to join the team in a high-impact FP&A Manager role. Working closely with the Finance Director and senior leadership team, you will play a key role in strengthening financial planning, improving reporting capability and driving greater visibility of margin and project profitability across the business.

As part of this varied role your duties will include:

  • Owning and significantly upgrading the budgeting model, creating a robust and scalable framework.
  • Developing rolling forecasts linked to key operational drivers including order intake, project schedules, labour and material costs.
  • Producing high-quality monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis and insightful commentary.
  • Designing and delivering Board-level reporting, KPIs and performance packs.
  • Building detailed project-level margin and profitability analysis.
  • Partnering with operational and commercial teams to link financial performance with business activity.
  • Supporting pricing, quoting, contract reviews and change control through meaningful financial insight.
  • Acting as a business partner to senior stakeholders, supporting decision making around investment, capacity and growth.
  • Providing ad-hoc analysis, financial modelling and commercial insight to support strategic initiatives.
