Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working exclusively with a successful and well-regarded manufacturing business in Doncaster as they look to recruit a Finance Manager.

This is a hands-on finance role reporting directly into the Company Director and will include responsibility for one other member of the team. The business is happy to consider applicants looking for either full-time or part-time hours (3–4 days per week).

This is a varied and rounded Finance Manager role with key responsibilities including:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts

  • Cashflow forecasting and monitoring

  • Month-end reporting and financial analysis

  • Oversight of day-to-day financial operations

  • Monitoring business costs and supporting cost control

  • Business partnering with commercial, production, and operational teams

  • Managing bank reconciliations

  • Overseeing VAT returns and liaising with external accountants at year-end

  • Coordinating monthly payroll data and managing employee expenses

  • Ad hoc tasks and projects as needed

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Professionally qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) or Qualified by Experience

  • Previous experience in manufacturing or a similar sector

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Able to manage and support a small team

  • Proactive and comfortable working cross-functionally across a business

  • Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
