Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working with a global manufacturer based in Rotherham that is a well-known local name, in their recruitment for a Finance Business Partner. Due to a period of growth, the role of Finance Business Partner position has been created to continually drive business performance by providing strategic input into all key business decisions, in reviewing, assessing and challenging business performance as well as identifying profit improvement opportunities.
To provide accurate cross-functional support, the role of Finance Business Partner will have a predominant focus on providing accurate forecasts on future revenue and expenditures, determining budgets and monitoring financial movements within the market.
The role will form a critical interface between finance and the wider business, influencing board level business decision making, as well as presenting accurate financial information and data to ensure all actions taken are both financially and commercially in line with business objectives.
Duties and responsibilities to include:

Effective Business Partnering with various stakeholders to ensure that financial targets are achieved

Provide financial/commercial analysis, to support decision making & effective cost control

Production of regular reforecasts
-
Project profitability and control
-
Cashflow forecasting
-
Highlight adverse variances to management team, and provide recommendations

Track and challenge the Business Wide CapEx projects to help monitor their actual spend

Construction of month end for variety of Projects, ensuring all relevant costs are captured correctly

Challenge and test robustness of financial information provided by suppliers or proposed by the project team for Board Packs

Assisting in the production of monthly board report which is discussed with the Senior Management Team

Support with Ad-Hoc requests
