We are currently recruiting a Finance Business Partner for a leading global Manufacturing business in Wakefield. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Finance Business Partner is responsible for acting as an advisor to operations teams, providing insights and guidance on business decisions, preparing forecasts, analysis on profitability and performance, whilst developing systems, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Working closely with Sales and Operations teams with responsibility for providing valuable financial insights, financial planning, performance analysis, and guidance to support decision-making processes.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation.
* Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts and budgets.
* Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable recommendations to management.
* Analyse financial performance and identify key business drivers.
* Monitor and report on business performance against targets and forecasts.
* Conduct financial modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives.
* Evaluate investment opportunities and provide financial appraisals.
* Develop and enhance financial reporting systems and processes.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline financial operations.
Ideally will be able to demonstrate the below experience;
* Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
* Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within Retail, Manufacturing, or FMCG sector.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
* High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
