Job Description
Sharp Consultancy are recruiting for a Finance Business Partner to join a well-established and expanding organisation based in the Worksop area. This is a progressive opportunity within a close-knit finance team, offering excellent scope for someone looking to move beyond producing numbers into a more commercial, decision-support role.
The Role
This is an exciting step for a Management Accountant or Analyst looking to progress into business partnering. You will still take responsibility for producing management accounts for the business but, more importantly, you’ll use this information to deliver insight, influence decision-making, and support the business in achieving its growth plans. Working closely with the Finance Director and operational teams, you’ll play a key role in shaping the financial strategy of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of accurate and timely management accounts
- Partnering with budget holders to explain financial performance and provide recommendations
- Producing analysis and insight to support strategic and operational decision-making
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow planning processes
- Developing reports and dashboards to improve visibility of key performance drivers
- Driving process improvements and contributing to financial strategy discussions
