An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Payroll Assistant to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Doncaster. Key Responsibilities

  • Processing and reviewing all weekly and monthly payroll activities.
  • Ensuring all payroll transactions are compliant and delivered in line with relevant legislation and internal company policies.
  • Supporting with queries relating to the time and attendance system.
  • Assisting with the annual pay review and bonus process.
  • Administration and reporting of employee benefits.
  • Supporting the annual production of P11D’s for employee benefits.
  • Monitoring and updating payroll process documentation to ensure it remains accurate and fit for purpose.

About You

  • Previous experience managing end-to-end payroll processes.
  • Strong understanding of payroll legislation, PAYE, pensions, and statutory payments.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Confident working with payroll systems and time & attendance software.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach with the ability to work well within a small finance team.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to support employees across the business.
