As the business continues to grow, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Part-Time Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their friendly and supportive finance team.

The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the purchase ledger function. Duties will include:
- Processing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Matching purchase orders, delivery notes and invoices.
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies.
- Preparing supplier payment runs.
- Responding to supplier queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Posting and allocating payments.
- Assisting with month-end processes.
- Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the wider finance team as required.
- The Ideal Candidate
Our client is looking for someone who has
- Previous experience within a Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable role.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- The ability to manage priorities and work to deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach.
- Experience within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
