We are working on an exclusive basis with a well-established and highly respected organisation based in Doncaster to appoint a HR Business Partner at a pivotal point in its growth journey. This appointment will play a key role in driving the next phase of organisational growth. Operating at a strategic level, this role offers significant scope to influence, build capability and develop an HR function that is closely aligned to commercial and operational priorities.

This is a commercially focused HR role offering significant exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to shape the organisation’s people strategy long term.

The Role

Reporting into senior leadership, the HR Business Partner will operate as a trusted advisor across the organisation, supporting both strategic and operational priorities. The role is broad, influential and offers genuine scope to leave a lasting legacy.

Key responsibilities

  • Acting as a strategic HR partner to senior leaders, aligning people strategy with business objectives
  • Supporting organisational growth through workforce planning, organisational design and capability building
  • Leading and embedding key HR initiatives across performance, talent, engagement and culture
  • Providing pragmatic, commercial HR advice across the full employee lifecycle
  • Playing a central role in change and transformation initiatives
  • Building, developing and leading an HR team as the function evolves

This role will suit an experienced HR professional who:

  • Is currently operating at HR Business Partner or Senior HR Manager level
  • Has experience working closely with senior stakeholders in a complex or growing organisation
  • Demonstrates strong commercial acumen and the confidence to influence at leadership level
  • Is comfortable balancing strategic input with hands-on delivery
  • Is CIPD qualified (preferred) or able to demonstrate equivalent experience
