Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working alongside a fantastic Doncaster-based firm of Chartered Accountants as they look to recruit an Audit and Accounts Senior. The client is a well-known, long-established practice with an exceptional reputation across South Yorkshire. They are continuing to invest in their growing Doncaster office and, as a result, have created a newly formed role for someone ACA, ACCA or Qualified by Experience (5+ years) to join the team.
As part of the Audit and Accounts team, you will provide a wide range of audit and accounting services to a varied client portfolio. This is a broad and hands-on role, involving the oversight and completion of audits and accounts work, both in the office and at client premises. You will have the opportunity to build strong client relationships, work on a wide range of projects and collaborate closely with the wider team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to broaden or enhance their existing experience in a multi-faceted role, with a clear and structured development pathway on offer.
Key responsibilities:- Senior audit work from planning through to completion with minimal supervision, including all aspects of audit fieldwork, working to deadlines and budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coaching, mentoring and supervising junior members of the team.
- Preparation of accounts and tax computations for companies, sole traders and partnerships for manager or director review.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
- £47,000 starting salary
- 37.5 hours per week: Monday–Thursday 8.00am–4.30pm and Friday 8.00am–1.30pm (hours may vary and travel will be required for client visits)
