Sharp Consultancy are partnering with a fast-growing business to recruit a driven and detail-oriented Data Analyst. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their data career who is passionate about transforming complex datasets into meaningful insights that influence real business decisions.

The Role

As Data Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting operational and strategic decision-making across the business. Working closely with stakeholders, you will analyse data, identify trends, and help drive efficiencies through insightful reporting and system improvements.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Compiling and analysing data to support ongoing business challenges and initiatives
  • Identifying inefficiencies within processes and recommending data-driven improvements
  • Building and maintaining data pipelines, with a focus on automation and scalability
  • Supporting system integrity and consistency across head office and operational sites
  • Developing clear, impactful dashboards and visualisations using Power BI
  • Assisting with POS and inventory system management, including menu updates
  • Acting as a point of contact for data queries, providing technical support and training
  • Supporting system installations and onboarding of new sites
  • Managing system downtime and troubleshooting issues as they arise

About You

We are looking for a proactive and naturally curious individual with a strong analytical mindset. You will be comfortable working with data, eager to learn, and confident communicating insights to a range of stakeholders. You will have:

  • 1–2 years’ experience in a data analysis or similar role
  • Demonstrable SQL and DAX skills, with the ability to write and optimise queries
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A positive, can-do attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable experience includes:

  • Exposure to Power BI or similar BI tools
  • Experience working with APIs and integrating data sources
  • Understanding of different data structures
  • Background within hospitality, retail, or leisure sectors
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Lightspeed
