A career in corporate finance is perhaps the most commercial, interesting and challenging of all the accounting and advisory disciplines.

This national advisory business has over the years completed transactions with and advised many recognisable and respected companies in the North of England (and more widely). Acting on both the buy-side and sell-side, corporate finance advice has been delivered on MBO’s, MBI’s, mergers, acquisitions, disposals and much more. Your role is to advise clients through the process of the corporate finance deal, sourcing debt and equity funding structures where needed, liaise with law firms on legal agreements, negotiate with buyers/sellers on behalf of your client to obtain the best possible deal structure and outcome.

The firm has an excellent reputation; to be considered you must be a qualified accountant, ACA or CA (ICAEW or ICAS) or ACCA, having qualified within professional practice and with recent professional practice experience, with drive, ambition and commercial nous. Corporate finance experience is not required, those in audit or due diligence would certainly be considered, but a desire to excel and build a career to a senior management position is.

Full training in corporate finance will be provided. There is a generous bonus incentive plan and very clear progression.
