We're partnering with a successful and rapidly growing UK business to recruit a Group Finance Manager.

This is a high-profile opportunity to join a business at an exciting stage of its growth, offering broad exposure across group reporting, statutory accounts, technical accounting, consolidations and finance transformation.

Reporting to the Group Finance Director, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of the Group's financial reporting while supporting strategic initiatives, driving continuous improvement and helping to shape the future of the finance function.

You'll work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, providing technical expertise and contributing to projects that support the organisation's ongoing expansion.

This role would suit an ACA, ACCA or CIMA-qualified accountant with experience in Group Finance, Financial Reporting or Technical Accounting within a multi-entity environment.

We're particularly interested in individuals who have experience of acquisition accounting, business integrations or supporting organisations through periods of growth and change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing group consolidations for a multi-entity business.
  • Producing accurate and timely group management and financial reporting.
  • Preparing statutory financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS.
  • Supporting delivery of annual report and external financial reporting for the group.
  • Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring strong financial controls.
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting from a Group perspective.
  • Partnering with finance teams across multiple business units to improve reporting.
  • Driving process improvements, automation initiatives and transformation projects.
  • Supporting acquisitions, business integrations and other strategic finance projects.
  • Providing technical accounting guidance across the business, including the implementation of new accounting standards where required.
  • Key contact for external audit, coordinating requests and ensuring a smooth audit process.
  • Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below qualifications/experience:
  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
  • Experience within Group Finance, Financial Reporting or Technical Accounting.
  • Working knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS, with experience preparing statutory accounts.
  • Experience of group consolidations within a multi-entity organisation.
  • Previous exposure to external audit and statutory reporting.
  • Excellent analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Demonstrable and experience working with large financial datasets.
