Key Responsibilities:
- Produce accurate, timely monthly management accounts.
- Take ownership of accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, and reconciliation processes.
- Analyse commercial contracts to extract vital financial data.
- Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and support the audit process.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for finance-related queries, particularly with regard to a growing property portfolio.
- Identify key areas for improvement in financial performance and reporting accuracy.
- Work closely with operational teams to gain insights into cost drivers and challenge any variances.
- Contribute to budgeting processes and ongoing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide mentorship and support to junior team members.
Ideal Experience:
- Actively studying towards a CIMA or ACCA qualification, with a clear commitment to qualifying as a full accountant.
- Previous experience in preparing management accounts, ideally within a group function.
