I am currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and successful manufacturing business based in Doncaster for a Junior Purchase Ledger Administrator to join their finance team.

The Role
As a Junior Purchase Ledger Administrator, you will work alongside an experienced finance team and receive full training across a range of purchase ledger and finance administration duties.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing and accurately entering supplier invoices
- Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery documentation
- Checking supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
- Assisting with supplier payments and account queries
- Maintaining accurate purchase ledger records
- Liaising with suppliers and internal departments
- Assisting with general finance and administration
- Supporting the wider finance team
- Learning and developing your knowledge of accounting systems and processes
About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, reliable and keen to learn, with a genuine interest in developing a career within finance.
You don't necessarily need previous purchase ledger experience — attitude and potential are more important. Full training will be provided.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good organisational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel
- A positive and professional attitude
- The ability to work well as part of a team
- A willingness to learn and develop
- Previous administration, accounts or office experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
