If you're a 2nd Line Analyst who enjoys problem-solving but wants to move closer to systems and automation, this could be your next move. At Sharp UK, we’re offering an opportunity to step into a role where you’ll not only support users—but also get hands-on with the platforms that power the business, including ConnectWise and integrated systems.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Join our Internal IT Systems Team, supporting colleagues across the UK and Europe while gaining exposure to key business systems and projects.
  • Own and resolve 2nd line support tickets with a strong focus on user experience.
  • Provide support across internal systems including ConnectWise, BrightGauge, QuoteWerks, Exchequer and Propel.
  • Work closely with senior engineers to maintain, improve, and secure core platforms.
  • Support system performance, availability and upgrades.
  • Assist with automation, integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to internal IT projects across a range of technologies.
  • Help produce reporting and management insights.

You’ll be:

  • Moving closer to systems and application support.
  • Gaining exposure to ConnectWise and business-critical platforms.
  • Learning about automation, integrations, and APIs.
  • Building skills that take you towards Systems Analyst / Application Specialist careers.

What we’re looking for:

  • Around 18+ months in a 1st/2nd line role.
  • Strong customer focus and communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and Windows environments.
  • A genuine interest in systems, integrations, and automation.
  • Basic knowledge of networking, security, or scripting (PowerShell desirable).
  • Curiosity and a desire to move beyond service desk into systems.

What you’ll gain:

  • Hands-on experience with internal IT systems and platforms.
  • Exposure to Azure, automation tools, and system integrations.
  • The opportunity to develop into a Systems Analyst or Applications Specialist.
  • Involvement in projects, not just BAU support.

Who this is perfect for:

  • A 2nd Line Analyst feeling ready for the next step.
  • Someone who enjoys troubleshooting but wants more ownership and impact.
  • A tech enthusiast curious about how systems connect and businesses operate.

If you're looking for a role that bridges the gap between support and systems, we’d love to hear from you.
