This is a crucial role focused on nurturing long‑term client relationships, maximising revenue, and identifying new business opportunities across public and private sector markets.
About the Role
As an Account Manager, you’ll take responsibility for a portfolio of Scotland Excel Framework accounts, ensuring every customer receives a proactive, high‑quality experience. You’ll create bespoke solutions for clients, supported by strong CRM tools, sales training, and a collaborative internal team. Your consultative approach and ability to understand customer environments, trends, and operational drivers will set you apart.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a high volume of Scotland Excel Government Framework accounts, ensuring timely responses and exceptional service
- Drive new business activity within the private sector to expand market reach
- Follow up on warm leads generated via SEO, Business Development teams, partners, and other channels
- Prepare thoroughly for customer visits, understanding their market, priorities, strategic initiatives, and projects
- Produce accurate quotations and operate within a structured sales process
- Maintain excellent standards of customer service and support across all assigned accounts
- Collaborate with internal teams to maximise sales opportunities and elevate the customer experience
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and activity‑based KPIs
- Use CRM systems and digital tools (Teams, virtual showroom, HubSpot/SuperOffice) to maintain precise records and produce real‑time forecasts
- Participate actively in sales training, skills development, and team meetings
- Complete all sales proposals, documentation, and reporting to a high professional standard
- Stay up to date with Sharp’s latest products, services, and capabilities
About You

- Industry experience within office or education furniture (desirable)
- Understanding of Framework sales (desirable)
- Working knowledge of CRM systems and MS Office
- Honesty, integrity, and a naturally inquisitive approach
- Confident communication skills and a commitment to delivering a best‑in‑class customer experience
- A full driving licence
- A positive attitude, strong initiative, and a proactive approach to problem solving
- Creativity in developing solutions and thinking beyond conventional approaches
- Strong sense of pride in delivering high‑quality work
Why Join Us?
