We’re looking for a motivated and consultative Account Manager to join our Workplace Design division — a team recognised as the number‑one supplier of education furniture on the Scotland Excel Government Framework. About the Role

As an Account Manager, you’ll take responsibility for a portfolio of Scotland Excel Framework accounts, ensuring every customer receives a proactive, high‑quality experience. You will also explore new opportunities within the private sector, bringing Sharp’s Workplace Design offering — and potentially the broader product portfolio — to life. You’ll create bespoke solutions for clients, supported by strong CRM tools, sales training, and a collaborative internal team. Your consultative approach and ability to understand customer environments, trends, and operational drivers will set you apart.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a high volume of Scotland Excel Government Framework accounts, ensuring timely responses and exceptional service
  • Drive new business activity within the private sector to expand market reach
  • Follow up on warm leads generated via SEO, Business Development teams, partners, and other channels
  • Prepare thoroughly for customer visits, understanding their market, priorities, strategic initiatives, and projects
  • Produce accurate quotations and operate within a structured sales process
  • Maintain excellent standards of customer service and support across all assigned accounts
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maximise sales opportunities and elevate the customer experience
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and activity‑based KPIs
  • Use CRM systems and digital tools (Teams, virtual showroom, HubSpot/SuperOffice) to maintain precise records and produce real‑time forecasts
  • Participate actively in sales training, skills development, and team meetings
  • Complete all sales proposals, documentation, and reporting to a high professional standard
  • Stay up to date with Sharp’s latest products, services, and capabilities

About You
