Responsibilities
- Process and disburse all types of bills, including TA/DA, salaries, and employee bonuses.
- Assist with tax audits, tax returns, and the annual budget.
- Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing accounting information.
- Maintain the general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing trial balances, and reconciling entries.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, factory visits, and inventory counting.
- Collect and update records of annual subscriptions paid by members.
- Maintain petty cash and day-to-day transactions.
Additional Responsibilities
- Prepare financial reports as required and submit them to the Executive Council within the stipulated time.
- Maintain the entire accounting system as well as accounting software.
- Voucher entry and bank reconciliation.
- Payroll and audit support.
- Handling VAT, tax & compliance documents.
- Undertake any additional tasks assigned by management.
- Manage data in Excel and prepare required reports.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Prepare & manage suppliers TDS challans & records.
- Prepare annual statutory financial reports and assist in conducting external audit.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong knowledge of reporting & taxation.
- ERP/Tally system knowledge preferred.
