- Senior Manager, Digital Distribution
- London (Battersea Power Station) / Hybrid
About the role
The Senior Manager, Digital Distribution is responsible for helping shape and execute Shark Ninja's digital distribution strategy across the DTC and ecommerce channel.
This role combines commercial delivery with operational excellence, managing how Shark Ninja's products and experiences reach consumers through owned and partner digital channels.
The ideal candidate is a strong operator who can drive a scaling digital distribution capability within a complex, fast-growing global organisation.
The Senior Manager, Digital Distribution owns how the model works — the launch standard, the commercial framework, the governance and the partner capability that determine whether each market succeeds.
Several markets are already live.
The immediate priority is bringing the existing estate to a single standard, then making every subsequent launch faster and cheaper than the last.
This is a hands-on operating role.
It suits someone who can hold a standard with external partners who already have their own ways of working, and who is as comfortable in a weekly trading review as in a launch gate.
What you will do
- Digital Distribution Model & Strategy
- Design and execute the digital distribution strategy across Shark Ninja's DTC and ecommerce estate, ensuring the right products reach the right consumers through the right digital channels at the right time.
- Define market prioritisation and the go-live roadmap against explicit criteria: partner digital capability, payments and tax complexity, logistics, language cost, category maturity and demand potential.
Recommend sequencing to DTC and regional leadership.
- Translate distribution strategy into scalable, market-specific frameworks that can be executed consistently.
- Keep abreast of emerging digital distribution models, platform developments and consumer behaviour shifts to inform recommendations.
- Deliver and maintain platform scalability, with a working handoff into Design, UX and Creative so partner sites inherit the Shark Ninja experience standard rather than diverging from it.
- Track emerging distribution models, platform developments and consumer behaviour shifts, and bring recommendations forward with a clear commercial case
- Run a gated launch process with explicit go-no-go criteria, and hold the authority to pause a launch that does not meet them.
- Reduce time-to-launch and cost-to-launch with each market by building reusable templates and standards instead of bespoke builds.
- Drive continuous improvement across digital distribution operations, using data and insight to identify and act on opportunities.
- Own day-to-day digital distribution partnerships, ensuring relationships are commercially productive and strategically aligned.
- Own the implementation of channel governance frameworks that ensure consistency, quality and compliance across digital distribution activity.
- Manage the digital distribution proforma and P&L end to end to determine the best levers across launch and business management
- Own the measurement standard — metric definitions, tagging governance and reliable partner data flow into Shark Ninja’s central reporting environment.
- Chair quarterly business reviews with each partner alongside the regional commercial owner.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with DTC, Marketing, Trading, Supply Chain, Technology and regional teams to ensure digital distribution activity is aligned with commercial priorities and operational capabilities.
- Collaborate with the DTC and Digital leadership team to feed into broader channel planning and go-to-market execution.
- Act as a subject matter expert on digital distribution trends, platform developments and emerging best practices.
- Act as a strong advocate for digital distribution across the organisation, sharing insights with senior stakeholders.
- Commercial Performance
- Support delivery of digital distribution revenue targets, working closely with Trading, Finance and commercial teams.
- Monitor and report on distribution performance metrics, providing clear and actionable insight to senior leadership and the broader business.
- Identify and help capitalise on new digital distribution opportunities, including emerging channels, platforms and partnership models.
- Partner with Demand Planning and Supply Chain teams to ensure product availability is optimised across digital distribution channels.
What success looks like
- A consistent, best-in-class digital distribution approach that drives measurable growth in revenue, availability and channel performance.
- Time to launch and cost-to-launch reducing measurably with each new market.
- Partner maturity scores improving year on year, with more markets trading independently to standard.
- Strong, commercially productive digital distribution partnerships embedded across relevant markets.
- A capable team with clear direction and a culture of commercial excellence.
- Digital distribution recognised as a key contributor to Shark Ninja's DTC business.
What you will have
- 5+ years of experience in digital distribution, ecommerce or DTC channel management, with some people leadership experience.
- Proven track record of supporting or scaling digital distribution capabilities in a fast-paced, global or multi-market environment.
- Strong understanding of digital distribution models, channel dynamics and the ecommerce landscape across multiple markets.
- Good commercial acumen with experience contributing to revenue targets and driving growth through digital channels.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate insight into action.
- Good leadership skills with experience managing and developing a small team.
- Experience operating in a fast-paced, high-growth global business is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent; MBA or advanced degree is advantageous.
