At SharkNinja, we’re building an AI-native culture. Our people are expected to experiment boldly, adopt new tools, and continuously raise what’s possible to create meaningful impact for our consumers. Marketing is the engine of how SharkNinja operates and grows, and you will be the Finance leader who facilitates that in a fiscally responsible and effective way.
As Senior Manager, FP&A - Global Marketing, your role sits at the forefront of the company's growth. You will help decide where the next dollar of marketing investment goes, understand which channels deliver more or less, and guide on which bets are worth taking. Senior leaders will come to you for a point of view, not just the numbers. You will lead the finance team that manages the Global Marketing function: forecasting, actuals, scenario planning, and the recommendations that follow. You'll dive deep into the full marketing funnel across brand media, affiliate marketing, performance marketing, and campaign specifics. You'll help shape and shift the strategy for evolving business priorities.
You will balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, operate with agility and flexibility to help teams make real-time trade-offs, navigate complex financial challenges, and deliver meaningful improvements across multiple workstreams. You will embody our Relentless Drive for Edge by seeking better ways to analyze performance and challenge assumptions, and bring an Insatiable Impatience for Action, turning insight into timely recommendations while leading a collaborative team to Outrageously Extraordinary results.
What you'll do:
- Business partnership and thought partnership: Advise senior leaders in Marketing, Commercial, and regional teams on where to invest, what returns to expect, and which trade-offs to make. Lead the finance conversation with senior leadership, bringing the team's analysis to the table with a clear point of view. Build and pressure-test investment scenarios and bring a clear recommendation with each one. Elevate how we review and view the marketing business: challenge the way things are done, build new P&L views and metrics, and find new ways to free up time and deliver value.
- Planning, reporting, and controls: Own forecasting, budgeting, actuals, and variance analysis for global marketing investments. Own the monthly and quarterly narrative for leadership: what moved, why it moved, and the move we make next. Own data integrity and controllership: close partnership with Accounting to keep the financial statements accurate, keep documented controls current, and handle sensitive financial information with discretion. Arm leaders with self-service, readily available information so they can run discussions and make decisions quickly.
- Team leadership: Lead, coach, and grow a team of analysts with clear priorities, ongoing feedback, and clear development paths. Foster an environment where Winning Is a Team Sport, encouraging collaboration, constructive challenge, accountability, and shared ownership of results, and set the team's rhythm for planning cycles, reviews, and handoffs. Demonstrate Communicating for Impact by translating complex financial information into concise recommendations for executive and cross-functional audiences.
- Building with AI and automation: Use AI tools in daily work to speed up analysis, recurring deliverables, and pressure-test assumptions. Build what the team needs, from models and reporting automation to data pipelines, and show results early rather than waiting for a perfect build. Drive process improvement: continually move manual and repetitive work into automation.
What you bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- 7-10 years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, or related experience.
- Experience leading, coaching, and developing a team of analysts.
- Mastery of planning and reporting rhythms, including budget, forecast, long-range plan, and monthly close.
- Experience analyzing marketing or commercial investments.
- Experience in consumer products is strongly preferred. Retail or e-commerce experience is a plus.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling, with experience in visualization tools, ERP systems, and data management tools.
- Hands-on AI fluency: you use AI tools in your own workflow and can show what you built with them.
- A track record of influencing senior leaders with concise, decision-ready recommendations.
How you'll work:
- Details make the difference: you check the numbers, then check the logic behind them.
- Progress over perfection: you ship a useful version this week and improve it next week.
- Conviction: you take a position, back it with data, and change it when the data says so.
- Drive: you bring the next idea, not only the next report, and you follow it through.
- Builder's mindset: you prototype quickly, get into the data yourself, and build tools instead of waiting for them.
