The TTS Inventory & Planning Specialist (UK) owns inventory operations and assortment planning for SharkNinja's TikTok Shop business. Partnering closely with the DTC Inventory & Planning Manager, Ops and category owners, the role keeps the channel stocked against the forecast, spotting out-of-stock risk early and pivoting into viable alternatives, while shaping the range through gap analysis, TTS exclusives and bigger bets on the products with the most upside. It is a strategic seat rather than a transactional one: building demand scenarios and bet cases that steer buy and phasing decisions, informing the revenue and SKU-level assumptions behind the forecast, and pressure-testing the plan through both a supply lens and a commercial one to protect GM% and ASP.
What you will do:
- Own TTS inventory operations end to end, driven by the forecast, live demand and commercial bets, spotting out-of-stock risk ahead of time and pivoting into a viable alternative before sales are lost.
- Pressure-test the forecast through a supply lens, avoiding supply risk and pivoting into alternative opportunities, and pressure-test GM% and ASP to protect a healthy channel P&L.
- Partner with Ops teams, ingesting allocation and stock transfer information and then ensuring the channel has the inventory required to achieve the forecast, keeping DTC/TTS splits aligned and closing gaps with category owners. This also includes informing the ops teams of expected spikes to ensure warehouse and carrier capacity can be scaled.
- Identify excess and obsolete stock early and support with building the plan to leverage it (bundling, live-event features, pricing or promotional mechanics), clearing ageing units through the channel while protecting margin.
- Plan launch volumes for new product introductions: sizing the launch quantity required, phasing stock to the launch strategy and making sure the channel is covered through the critical first weeks of sell-through.
- Shape the TikTok Shop assortment strategy: identify range gaps, build the case for TTS exclusives and place bigger bets on the products with the most upside, then review whether those bets paid back and feed the learnings into the next round.
- Build demand scenarios and bet cases that steer range, buy and phasing decisions, and inform the tops-down forecast target, including revenue and SKU-level assumptions and what the channel needs to comp.
- Ensure the channel has inventory to scale live commerce: building stock ahead of major live events and peak trading, modelling upside scenarios and making sure availability never caps a breakout moment.
- Establish clear and consistent planning cadences across the cross-functional group (weekly trade, monthly forecast reviews and range checkpoints) so inputs land on time and decisions are made against a shared view.
- Leverage internal tools, such as PBI, and AI technology, to provide regular reporting including data visualisation on stock volumes, risk, and opportunities.
What you will have:
- Experience in sales analysis, demand planning, category management or financial analysis.
- Exposure to a fast-moving e-commerce, marketplace or DTC channel, where demand is volatile, promotional and event-driven rather than steady-state.
- Working knowledge of inventory planning mechanics (stock cover, allocation, phasing, launch sizing and out-of-stock mitigation), and comfort partnering with supply chain or operations teams.
- Ability to build scenario and sensitivity models: sizing upside and downside cases and translating them into a buy or phasing recommendation.
- Strong experience working with pivot tables, large datasets and data visualisation.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, concise business insights.
- Fluency with BI and AI tools: Power BI or equivalent for reporting, and a habit of using AI to speed up analysis rather than waiting for someone else to build it.
- Commercial judgement: able to read a P&L, understand the levers behind GM% and ASP, and make a case for a bet rather than only reporting the numbers.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to influence without authority: holding a cross-functional group to a planning cadence, closing gaps with category owners and making the case for a bet to commercial and finance stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
