Management Accountant - Opex We are seeking a proactive and conscientious Management Accountant to join our UK Opex Finance team.

This role will be responsible for the preparation, review and delivery of high‑quality management information, providing meaningful insight into business performance and supporting stakeholders with effective decision making.

This is an excellent opportunity for a part‑qualified or newly qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) looking to further develop their technical expertise and business partnering skills within a dynamic, fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities Take ownership of specific P&L areas within the monthly management accounts for UK Opex, ensuring accuracy, completeness and adherence to deadlines.

Prepare, review and challenge accruals and prepayments, ensuring appropriate accounting treatment and robust supporting documentation.

Deliver clear and insightful monthly Opex reporting, including variance analysis against budget and forecast.

Provide high‑quality commentary and analysis, highlighting key drivers, risks and opportunities affecting performance.

Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring issues are identified and resolved promptly.

Actively identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency, control and quality of Opex reporting and month‑end processes.

Respond to ad‑hoc financial analysis and reporting requests from senior stakeholders.

Skills & Experience Ideal candidate studying towards accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA or ACA preferred).

Strong technical accounting foundation with experience of management accounting and month end close.

Analytical and detail oriented, with the ability to interpret financial data and translate it into clear business insight.

Confident communicator, able to engage effectively with non‑finance stakeholders and challenge constructively where appropriate.
