As a Category Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the story of new product launches across the EMEA market for our Shark Home categories. You'll craft compelling messaging that resonates with consumers and ensures consistency across every touchpoint, from packaging and product displays to digital and in-store marketing collateral. As part of our Global Category Marketing Team, you'll work with stakeholders across the US, UK, and wider European markets. By aligning global strategy with local consumer insights, you'll help bring innovative products to life and drive engagement across the region. This position plays a pivotal role in delivering the Shark Home product roadmap, encompassing the launch of multiple products in countries across Europe. You'll manage several overlapping workstreams at once, relying on outstanding organisational skills to keep everything on track.
What Youβll Do
- Drive and lead the go-to-market strategy across EMEA for the category.
- Develop and implement category and optimal pricing strategies to drive sales and profitability, by analysing market trends, competitors and customer data.
- Work closely with offices across US and EMEA region to assemble an optimum product strategy.
- Create compelling brand messaging that connects with consumers.
- Partner with Product Development, Sales, PR, and IMC to deliver best-in-class launches.
- Own category performance insights, identifying growth opportunities, and optimising sales performance.
- Develop briefs for consumer testing and IHUTs, working with CI team to define target audience and messaging.
- Work with local agency to ensure packaging artwork and adaptations are complete for all markets.
- Alongside internal teams, ensure we are developing breakthrough content for digital, social, retail, and beyond.
