This is a day rate contract position approved through the end of the year with a high likelihood of extension.

As part of the phenomenal growth SharkNinja EMEA has achieved over the last few years, we have an exciting new opportunity for an Assistant Category Marketing Manager to join our Beauty team. The successful candidate will support the Beauty Category team in driving awareness of the brand, category, and select products within the Beauty portfolio.

This regional role will support all markets across EMEA. Working closely with the Senior Category Marketing Manager and cross-functionally, you will need excellent project management and business acumen skills to manage several projects in parallel in this fast-paced environment.

We are looking for someone who is fast-thinking, with a broad spectrum of marketing and commercial ambition, from supporting storytelling to building commercial product and category plans, and transforming data into actionable insights.

As an ambassador for the product group, you and the Senior Category Marketing Manager will be the key drivers and points of contact for the US team, responsible for creating and implementing the annual Product Strategy and Brand Communication plan across EMEA. As an assistant to your category lead, you will have influence over insight, packaging, messaging, claims, localization, and the rollout of marketing assets.

  • Key interface role with EMEA Product Development, Marketing Communications, Studio, and local countries to conceptualize and execute 5-star launch toolkits supporting the communication plan.
  • Excellent virtual management and communication skills, balanced with sound business acumen. Capable of influencing, identifying issues, and overcoming barriers to keep projects on track by region.
  • Collaborate with Product Development to set up SKUs.
  • Responsible for product launch materials and communication, specifically T2 content.
  • Deep understanding of the category, market, consumers, channels, and competitors.
  • Make recommendations on market responses and performance updates.
  • Understand Shark Ninja segmentation and customer audiences to inform communication strategies.
  • Work cross-functionally, seeking alignment with US and other countries.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of portfolio and category strategies, retailer sell-in decks, press kits, and proactive updates.
  • Partner with Consumer Insights to conduct consumer testing and develop support materials to ensure market success. Use results to advise on claims, packaging, digital, and social content.
  • Work with Studio and IMC to develop brand toolkits aligned with the playbook, managing the process from brief to issuance.
  • Manage all category packaging, including translation matrices into up to 25 languages.
  • Support sampling plans and events.
  • Attend key category and cross-functional meetings to stay informed and adapt quickly to changes.

To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

Essential hard skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in Brand or Product marketing, preferably within Beauty/Haircare.
  • Experience working within EU/multi-matrix environments.
  • Packaging experience and collaboration with creative studios and teams.
  • Degree level education or equivalent.
  • Strong numeracy and commercial acumen.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Relentless collaboration skills.
