About The Role
The Principal Software Engineer, Mobile is SharkNinja's deepest technical authority on mobile engineering — the person others come to when the patterns don't exist yet. You'll define the architectural standards and engineering principles that shape mobile across SharkNinja's connected product ecosystem, including SharkClean, NinjaPro Connect, and the next-generation unified app platform. You’ll tackle the most complex technical challenges at the intersection of mobile, firmware, cloud, AI, and consumer experience.
What You'll Bring
- 12+ years of progressive software engineering experience, with deep expertise in native iOS (Swift), Android (Kotlin), and React Native.
- A track record of solving the hardest mobile engineering problems — architecture, cross-platform unification, consumer-scale reliability — with measurable impact at scale.
- Deep expertise in mobile-to-cloud integration, BLE/Wi-Fi connectivity, and the full stack from firmware interfaces through cloud services.
- Recognized technical authority, sought out when the stakes are highest.
- Proven ability to set engineering standards and frameworks that scale across teams.
- Strong cross-functional influence built on technical credibility, not positional authority.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, translating complex decisions for leadership and business stakeholders.

- Rust/C/C++ for cross-platform or performance-critical work.
