We are looking for a passionate and dependable intern to join our Kids Ministry team. This role is designed to provide hands-on ministry experience while supporting the preparation and execution of weekly services and special events. The Kids Ministry Intern will play an important part in creating a welcoming, safe, and fun environment for children and families. In addition to serving, the intern will have the opportunity to grow spiritually, be mentored by ministry leaders, and gain practical experience in children's ministry leadership.
Responsibilities
- Assist with preparation for Sunday services (supplies, materials, classroom setup, check-in).
- Support Kids Ministry staff in ordering and organizing resources.
- Help plan, set up, and execute special events throughout the year.
- Welcome children and parents on Sundays, creating a friendly and safe first impression.
- Build positive relationships with kids, parents, volunteers, and leaders.
- Participate in mentorship, discipleship, and ministry training opportunities.
- Provide additional support to ministry staff as needed.
- Able to work within child safety and Hope Kids Ministry guidelines.
Qualifications
- A committed Christian with a heart for serving children and families.
