Role Overview: The Assistant Worship Director plays a vital role in supporting the mission and vision of Hope Church, working closely with the worship team to plan and lead Christ-centered, spiritually engaging worship services. Sharing the hope of Jesus with a world in need of hope.

Responsibilities:
- Support the overall mission, vision, and values of Hope Church.
- Collaborate with the Worship Leadership Team to plan and implement impactful worship services.
- Be intentional with song selection, keeping in mind the sermon theme and spiritual focus of each service.
- Lead rehearsals with musicians, vocalists, and tech team.
- Lead engaging, Christ-centered worship while ensuring high-quality musical excellence.
- Arrange music to suit the skill level of the team while maintaining musical and theological integrity.
- Provide spiritual leadership to worship team members while modeling a consistent and authentic personal faith walk.
- Pray regularly for guidance and discernment in planning worship services and serving the needs of the congregation.
- Help create a warm and welcoming church atmosphere that encourages congregational worship participation.
Requirements:
- Strong personal faith in Jesus Christ and a desire to minister through worship.
- Proficient in piano, guitar or another instrument that allows for effective worship leading.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic who is able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills; attention to detail and follow-through.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- A heart for discipleship and the ability to mentor and multiply leadership in others.
