An opportunity for an experienced Product Owner to play a significant role in the digital transformation of a renowned insurance company. The Product Owner will work with executive stakeholders to define and realize product strategies that result in tangible business outcomes. Responsibilities
- Create and manage the product roadmap and priorities to ensure the success of the product
- Create, maintain, and communicate requirements to the business analysis, user experience, user interface, and development teams
- Gather and analyze insights from client feedback, competitors, peers, and the insurance industry
- Prioritize backlog features for development sprints
- Help organize and participate in sprint planning sessions and reviews
- Host requirements gathering workshops
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, executive stakeholders, and team members
- Gather and document user stories that clearly articulate business system functions and requirements
Skills / Experience Profile:
- Post-secondary degree or significant equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, or Software Engineering
- Experience in the insurance or financial industry is highly advantageous
- Previous experience working with agile development methodologies
- Clear understanding of the product lifecycle and ceremonies
- Experience working with Atlassian products such as Jira and Confluence
Additional information:
- Salary Range: £85k – £95k + Bonus
- Location: Hybrid / London (3 days a week)
