People Leadership Consultant .
This six-month consultancy engagement offers an exceptional opportunity for an accomplished People leader to provide executive leadership during an important period of organisational growth and evolution.
Working closely with the executive leadership team, you will lead an established People function, provide confidence and stability across the business, and ensure key People priorities continue to be delivered successfully.
This is a hands‑on leadership assignment requiring someone who can quickly establish credibility, build trusted relationships and make an immediate impact.
The successful consultant is expected to commence the assignment in mid‑September 2026.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the executive leadership team, you will
- Provide executive leadership to an established People function throughout a six-month consultancy engagement.
- Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing People team, creating clear priorities, accountability and momentum.
- Ensure the effective delivery of all core People operations, including employee relations, reward, compliance, workforce planning and people systems.
- Act as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders, providing pragmatic, commercially focused guidance on complex people matters.
- Drive the successful delivery of key People initiatives and organisational change programmes.
- Improve People processes, governance and operational effectiveness to support the organisation's continued growth.
- Use people data and insight to support executive decision‑making.
- Build strong relationships across the business, strengthening leadership capability and embedding best practice.
About You
We're interested in experienced People leaders who can demonstrate
- Significant experience operating at People Director, Head of People or equivalent executive level.
- Previous interim, consultancy or fixed‑term leadership experience.
- A strong track record within consulting, technology or professional services organisations.
- Broad HR leadership expertise across the full employee lifecycle.
- Experience leading organisational change and developing high‑performing teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at executive level.
- The confidence to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on operational leadership.
- A pragmatic, calm and commercially focused approach with the ability to build credibility quickly.
