This is an opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of full-lifecycle engagements at the forefront of Data and AI adoption. The successful contractor will join an established team working to lead the front-end design and development for a complex data platform.

Responsibilities:

  • We are seeking demonstrable experience working with customer and technical teams to understand and engineer the front end look and feel of a complex data platform.
  • Engaging with clients and technical teams to understand requirements, conceptualise user interfaces and demonstrate the art of the possible.
  • Translating client requirements into project tasks.
  • Designing web-based user interface systems that provide robust access to large data sets.
  • Producing quality documentation and solution design.
  • Taking a hands-on approach to build and implement the design with minimal technical oversight.
  • Managing build and continuous integration tasks as part of an agile team.

Skills / Experience Profile:

  • Strong experience in React development with deep understanding of Single Page Application architecture.
  • Proficiency with modern React testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).
  • Experience implementing front-end state management solutions (Redux, Context API, Zustand).
  • Experience with Tailwind CSS.
  • Experience implementing authentication using Azure AD/Entra ID.
  • Experience with TypeScript.
  • Experience with Python backend development (FastAPI preferred, Django or Flask acceptable).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies.

Additional Information:

  • Rate Offered: £500-550 per day.
  • IR35 Status: Outside.
  • Initial Duration: 6 Months.
  • Location: Home based, with occasional travel to London and client site.
