This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, Data Business Analyst to join a significant digital transformation programme in the public sector.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and enhancement of Data Governance practices.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to data governance within business systems and processes.
- Model current processes, and create models of future state processes.
- Provide recommendations for data management improvements related to new or changed processes, technologies, and organisational needs.
- Escalate concerns and issues, and collaborate with the Enterprise Data Governance team to address feedback and produce products required.
- Updating SharePoint site, monitor the team mailbox and produce monthly newsletters.
- Supporting show and tell sessions as required.
Required Skills / Experience
- At minimum of 3 years of experience in Data management, IT, Design, Analysis or Software Development.
- Confidence in contributing new ideas and approaches to Data Governance and project environments.
- Knowledge and experience of agile methodologies, data analysis and modelling.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Competent using Microsoft tools.
- Familiarity with DAMA Book of Knowledge, JIRA and Confluence.
- Previous experience working in the security forces / defence sector would be very beneficial.
- Active SC or willing to undergo SC Clearance.

- Rate Offered: Up to £495 per day
- Location: 1-2 days/ week onsite in Hampshire
- IR35 Status: Outside
- Start Date: ASAP
