The Contracts & Compliance Administrator is responsible for ensuring the business meets its contractual, legal and regulatory obligations across all recruitment and contractor-related activities. This part-time role is ideal for a detail-driven administrator with strong experience in compliance, documentation control, and contractor lifecycle management.
Core Responsibilities
- Create, issue, track and maintain all contractor and client contractual documentation, including MSAs, SoWs, extension letters, onboarding packs, and compliance forms.
- Conduct and maintain right-to-work checks, background screening coordination, and IR35 compliance workflows.
- Maintain the compliance register and ensure up-to-date audit-ready documentation for all contractors and placements.
- Manage regulatory reporting and ensure adherence to REC standards, GDPR requirements, and client-specific compliance frameworks.
- Own version control, document storage and correct filing for all contractual artefacts.
- Liaise with contractors to ensure timely completion of mandatory documents, certifications, insurances, and renewals.
- Support the month end process from a timesheet collection and approval perspective.
- Manage contractor onboarding, weekly check-ins, extensions, off boarding documentation and reference collection.
- Light office administration duties as required (e.g., maintaining templates, CRM/ATS updates, occasional meeting logistics).
- Support internal process documentation and training compliance.
Required Experience / Skills
- Strong experience in administration with a contracts or compliance focus.
- Understanding of the recruitment lifecycle and contractor operations.
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail able to spot errors, inconsistencies, and missing information.
- Highly organised, proactive and comfortable working with deadlines.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills when dealing with clients and contractors.
- Professional resilience, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information.
