London is at the centre of ambitious plans for further market penetration and talent acquisition. With a well-established foundation of capability, the London team is set to more than double in size over the next twelve months to meet significant demand for solutions including Human Capital Management, Managed Services and Enterprise Content Management through advances in Cloud based technology platforms.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced HCM professional to cross train into Workday - The leading, innovative enterprise class SaaS solution for managing HCM, payroll and financial management issues of modern day international businesses. The Workday Consultant will be responsible for supporting the successful design and implementation of enterprise-scale HCM solutions for clients by working closely with client business teams and internal delivery teams to drive the scope, definition and delivery management of solutions that are fit for purpose and commercially viable.

The Workday Consultant will also be responsible for leading local and remote teams and for helping define the overall practice development strategy for the Workday capability. Responsibilities include:

  • Taking a lead consultant role in Workday assignments and building trusted client relationships.
  • Conducting discovery sessions with clients to determine pain points and diagnose how Workday can provide value and the implementation can achieve ROI.
  • Shaping major HCM engagements aimed at achieving demonstrable business benefit and profit targets.
  • Agreeing objectives, outputs, milestones, timescale with clients, together with associated contract and commercial terms.
  • Documenting requirements, business processes, application configurations, testing plans and other artefacts to ensure shared understanding and facilitate knowledge transfer.
  • Creating well structured & accurate deliverables and presenting to client board level leading to acceptance of recommendations.

Qualifications:

Successful candidates will be either:

  • Experienced consultants with at least 3 years’ experience of working with clients and delivering HR / HCM solutions within medium-large corporate environments.
  • OR; Human resources professionals with significant enterprise scale experience of the implementation of HCM solutions such as SAP, Oracle eBusiness Suite, PeopleSoft, SuccessFactors or Microsoft Dynamics AX.

Candidates will typically have:

  • Minimum of 3 years consulting or relevant industry experience.
  • In depth knowledge of Human Capital Management, with areas of expertise in at least three of the following functional areas: HCM business process, recruiting, absence management, compensation, performance management, benefits, payroll processing, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable or procurement.
  • Experience of leading engagements for technology-enabled HR business solutions for clients.
  • Broad business & technology experience and a good awareness of industry trends and their potential impact on current & future business applications.
  • Sound communication skills including ability to formally present to senior client and conference audiences.
  • Strong commercial awareness and sound understanding of project and business dynamics.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills.
