Responsibilities

  • Take on a vital role in your community by helping children and families cross the road safely during busy school run times.
  • Be a calm and reassuring presence at designated crossing points; ensure pedestrians are protected and traffic is managed with care and confidence.
  • Work 10 hours per week during school term time, typically one hour in the morning and one in the afternoon.
  • Wear and use supplied uniform and equipment to stay protected in all weather conditions.
