The Role:
Joining our Shared Services Subject Access Request Team, you’ll be passionate about data protection and support both Adults’ Health & Care and Children’s Services. In this vital role you’ll be responsible for supporting responses to requests for personal information from individuals and partner organisations, securely and in line with legal requirements.
What you’ll do:
- Communicate sensitively with individuals and organisations regarding Subject Access Requests (SARs).
- Collate and combine electronic and paper records from various sources.
- Acknowledge and validate SARs, manage a shared mailbox, and request additional details when needed.
- Respond to Police requests for personal information, including identifying and disclosing relevant records.
- Maintain accurate records and stay up to date with GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong IT skills and confidence using Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, Outlook, and bespoke IT systems.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
