The predicted salary is between 24000 - 30000 £ per year.

On average, the service sorts, delivers and collects over 120,000 items of mail/medical notes per week and transports more than 5 million movements of samples of Blood Products and Pathology annually. The role is a Fixed‑term Secondment for 7 months until 09/12/2025, covering primary health care sites across NHS Wales.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain stock items in store centres.
  • Safely transport, distribute and replenish NHS Pathology, Blood/Blood Products, secure and non‑secure stationery, laundry, mail/records and medical consumables (e.g., needles, syringes, containers) to hospitals, GP practices, pharmacies, opticians and dental surgeries across NHS Wales.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Full driving licence.
  • Experience driving a range of vans.
  • Dealing with customers.
  • Sound geographical knowledge of area served.
  • Moving and handling and awareness of health and safety.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Welsh speaker.
  • Use of mobile technology.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
