Working as part of a friendly team, you will prepare and serve food and drink in line with agreed specifications, ensuring food safety, hygiene, and health and safety standards are met at all times. You will support daily kitchen operations, including stock control, cleaning, customer transactions, and shift handovers, helping to ensure a safe, efficient, and high quality service for visitors. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food and drink to specification while complying with food safety, hygiene, and health and safety standards.
- Support daily kitchen operations, including stock control, cleaning, customer transactions, and shift handovers.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a kitchen environment, with strong food preparation skills and a basic understanding of food safety and stock control.
- Keen eye for detail and pride in personal presentation.
- Well organised with excellent communication skills; able to put the customer at the heart of everything you do.
- Comfortable working in a busy environment, able to remain calm under pressure, and adapt confidently to unexpected situations.
Benefits and work arrangements
This is a full time role (37 hours per week) within a seven day operation, mainly daytime hours. Sunday and Bank Holiday working is paid at an enhanced rate, with additional seasonal overtime available. On top of this rewarding opportunity to work in a beautiful country park, we offer a competitive salary and generous benefits package.
