Hampshire Pension Services (HPS) administers pensions for the Hampshire Pension Fund, a Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS). We also act as the pension administrator for West Sussex County Council, London Borough of Hillingdon, City of Westminster, Hampshire Police, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service, and West Sussex Fire.

Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for our members and external partners.
  • Provide first level support to members by both phone and electronic communication.
  • Support members and employers in accessing their online service accounts.
  • Undertake basic administration changes to member records.
  • Import and set up documents and forms to member records.

Qualifications

  • 5 GCSEs (grade C or 4 and above) or equivalent, including Maths and English.
  • Enthusiasm and positivity.
  • Strong communicator (written and verbal) who can build good working relationships with customers and peers.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service and enjoy helping people.
  • Willing to learn and try new things.
  • Strong IT skills.

Vetting Requirements

Subject to Non-Police Personnel Vetting. Candidates must have resided in the UK for a minimum of 3 years in order for clearance to be obtained.
