Joining our supportive team as a Business Support Assistant, you will provide high‑quality administrative support that enables our Social Work teams to deliver essential services to older adults, helping them to live long, happy and independent lives.

Working in a fast‑paced and varied environment, you will respond to enquiries from colleagues and members of the public, maintain accurate records on case management systems, process information, and support the smooth day‑to‑day operation of the service.

Responsibilities

  • Providing administrative support to Social Work teams supporting older adults.
  • Responding to enquiries from colleagues, partners and the public.
  • Maintaining accurate records on case management systems.
  • Processing information and documentation accurately.
  • Coordinating meetings and supporting the day‑to‑day running of the service.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Taking minutes at internal and occasional safeguarding meetings, including coordinating invitations and distributing records.

Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Confidence using Microsoft 365 and ability to learn new IT systems.
  • A flexible, team‑focused approach with a commitment to inclusion, respect and excellent service.
  • Travel to other locations within Hampshire as required.
