Role Overview
The Careers Co‑ordinator will support the development of a Careers Hub at our new centre at Ed City, a hub that offers STEM courses and supports the Council’s industrial strategy in partnership with Imperial and other local organisations.
Responsibilities
- Provide high‑level careers information, advice and guidance and recruit learners onto STEM programmes.
- Work in partnership with colleagues across the Council and lead on the MATRIX quality assurance framework for information, advice and guidance.
- Deliver a high‑quality service to support learners with CV creation, personal skills development, job applications, interview techniques and employment searches.
- Use labour‑market intelligence systems and data to inform decisions and service delivery.
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified Careers Advice and Guidance (QCF Level 6+).
- Experience using labour‑market intelligence systems.
- Understanding of how to use data to improve careers services.
