Do you enjoy turning complex data into clear, meaningful insights – and want to play a key role in shaping how our clients understand and manage their business? We’re looking for a Corporate Reporting Lead to join our SSCL Business Intelligence team. You’ll lead our corporate reporting service, working with a passionate group of data specialists who support government clients with high‑quality reporting across platforms like OTBI, Hyperion, Power BI and Splash BI. You’ll be the go‑to person for all things corporate reporting – guiding delivery, shaping best practice, and helping clients make informed decisions using accurate, timely information. This role is primarily remote, with travel to either our Blackpool or Salford office once a month for meetings or collaboration sessions.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading and providing governance across the corporate reporting portfolio, ensuring the quality and timely delivery of all contractual and non‑contractual outputs.
  • Acting as the single point of contact for guidance, customer management and escalation throughout the full reporting lifecycle.
  • Managing client demand and internal capacity to ensure all reporting deadlines are met.
  • Reviewing and validating estimates prepared by data analysts and providing cost and resource estimates for new deliverables.
  • Presenting data, insights and performance updates to senior managers and clients, supported by clear evidence.
  • Line managing a small team of data analysts, supporting their development and ensuring strong team performance.

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in reporting management within a multi‑deliverable environment.
  • Strong data analysis skills and the ability to present information clearly to stakeholders.
  • Experience of improving reporting processes, including automation, along with an understanding of relevant technologies.
  • Knowledge of governance and data security procedures within Government environments.
  • Advanced Microsoft skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Visio.
  • Experience of analytical solutions such as Power BI, Splash BI or Qlik.

It would be great if you had:

  • Experience of Oracle ERP solutions across functions such as Finance, HR or CRM.
  • Experience of working with Government clients and an understanding of their operations.

Employment Type: Full‑time, Permanent.

Location: Anywhere in the UK, with attendance in either our Blackpool or Salford office once a month.

Security Clearance Level: SC.

Salary: Up to £58,000 Dependent upon experience.

Benefits: £5,400 car allowance, 25 days annual leave with the option to buy additional days, private medical, life assurance, pension, and generous flexible benefits fund.
